So just how BAD will be the Dems and "elites" election losses be next year?

No article, just a discussion post.

I say if the election were held today, the GOP would take the Senate, increase seats in the House, and the RATS would pull every cheating lever in their power to keep little king boy Barry in the WH. The best the conservatives could hope for is complete deadlock in the District of Corruption for the next four years of living under the Stalinist. With enough conservatives in the Congress we should be able to pretty much defund most of Barry Hussein's evil programs. CLEAN OUT THE RINOS and we will be in much better shape.

An awful lot of things are going to happen in the USA and in the world between today and Nov 6, 2012.

"Here is my prediction: If this economy does not have a major turnaround in the next twelve months, the GOP could nominate Mickey Mouse and win, it won’t matter. We won’t be talking about blue and red states or swing states. It will be a total blow-out just like last November as the Dems have already been largely pushed back to their one-party urban redoubts."

At least Mickey Mouse is a natural born US citizen. Quite unlike the usurper we have now.

Don’t forget 20+ million prospective illegal alien democrats that will vote..

I’ll give you another prediction: The GOP takes back the US Senate. Simple math does the Dems in. They have to defend 23 US Senate seats-—many in solid red states. The GOP has to defend only 10 seats-—mostly in friendly territory. This one is a no brainer.

Your question is based on the predicate that the USA doesn’t erupt in Civil War before the 2012 election?

*

I think the presidential will look like the 1984 Reagan blow out and think the only dems that survive will be the ones in the inner cities.

*

If we lived in a sane world Omama would get 8% of the popular vote.
Otherwise, I am hoping I do not have to defend my life at, or near, the voting booth.

If you look at the entire history of leaders running for re-election, and compare Barry’s situation to any of the others, it’s hard to think of anyone who has been more thoroughly toast one year out. I think any scenario for a second term involves a third-party mischef maker exploiting anger at the banks. In such a case he would eek in with a plurality somewhere in the 30’s, and be an absolute sitting duck for our enemies as he would be by far the weakest President to ever hold office. Just looking at the raw numbers it’s hard to see how the GOP does not regain the Senate.

The senate goes as does the white House. The President loses Wisconsin, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Washington, Ohio, Illinois, New Hampshire....FL, NC, Maine won’t be even close. You’ll be able to go to sleep by 9:00PM because it will be over before then.

It’s a long, long time from September to November. IMO, heavy early and absentee voting are not friends of the Republican party. I have long wished that both would be abolished, declare Election day a holiday and allow voting in person on that one day only except for the military. Makes it much more difficult to stuff the boxes.

“But there is always a black swan event....”

Very true. Remember the news report that George W. Bush had been convicted of drunk driving on the even of the 2000 election? It may have cost him the popular vote and almost cost the election. There are many potential black swans.

  1. It's funny because it's what they say every election, even in 2008.
